and the drama continues

please, please someone tell me you saw the news conference of palin quitting the governorship today. as a public affairs professional, the news release, as well as the planning and execution of and news conference itself, were a disaster. did anyone else see the shot of the news conference where they showed the audience? it looked like she gathered up some "less-than-stylish" neighbors and proceeded with a huge bombshell announcement. completely unprepared, babbling... ugh.

i'm just exhausted thinking about that mess.

kitchen experimenting

since the husband got his life back, he's been a huge help around the house. not that he isn't to begin with, but he's taking things to a whole new level. this afternoon he's making meatloaf for the first time for our community group dinner.
