it's just plain adorable

this is a picture of three of my college roommates (there were 6 of us total -- collectively known as the 'mckee girls'). kate (l) and becky (r) are due within two weeks of each other and both having boys, and beth (c) just had twin boys. this photo was taken over the weekend in connecticut where beth lives.

in the past two weeks i've done some severe damage to my right foot big toe (the comfortable shoes i was walking around DC in suddenly became uncomfortable the last hour we were out), fallen down an entire flight of stairs thanks to an icy morning last wednesday and my beagle who pulls like a son of gun when i take him out in the morning (the softball size black & purple bruise on my ass isn't office chair- friendly), and to top it all off my boss and i were hoisting the new water jug into the cooler this morning and she decided to let go before i did... with my thumb between the VERY heavy jug and the cooler. it's black & blue & bleeding. seriously... what the...?
